Featured Lakefront Listings

The inventory for Lake Tahoe lakefronts has continued to drop over the last 6 months. At the same time, sales have remained steady. Since August 2019, the inventory has been reduced 50% and January 2020 began with only 45 active lakefront listings. The sale to list price in August was a whopping 98%! As of January 2020, this has dropped to 95%.  As inventory drops, the prices usually rise. This means there has never been a better time to purchase a Lake Tahoe lakefront home!

You will find a diversity of Lake Tahoe lakefronts that span the entire circumference of the lake. The West shore of Lake Tahoe is known for its legacy and prestigious homes, often built on large parcels. Properties on the North Shore are generally more affordable and offer newer homes in communities like Dollar Point with its many amenities.

Many of the lakefront homes have been remodeled and boast the best in modern conveniences, while remaining true to an Old Tahoe style. Communities like Brockway Hot Springs showcase exquisite architectural styles and authentic hot springs. On the Nevada side and East shore, Zephyr Cove, Glenbrook and Incline Village all present some of the most sought after communities, with homes in the higher price points.

Lake Tahoe lakefronts can include piers and/or buoys. These are both regulated by TRPA, so it is important to work with a lakefront specialist who understands these regulations.
