Lake Tahoe Golf Courses Are Open!
The 2021 Golf season is getting underway at Lake Tahoe. Many courses have already opened and the remaining ones will be opening in the next couple of weeks.
While California may be doing away the mask mandate toward mid-summer, you will need your mask because each course can have different best practices.
This year, the Barracuda Championship, an official PGA Tour event, returns to Old Greenwood from August 2nd to August 8th, 2021. The American Century Championship will be held July 6th to July 11th at the Edgewood Tahoe Golf Course in South Lake Tahoe.

OLD GREENWOOD IS OPEN!
Old Greenwood and Gray’s Crossing allow you to experience 36 holes of mountain perfection courtesy of Jack Nicklaus and Peter Jacobsen. Each course provides you the chance to experience the finest golf in the High Sierra!
Old Greenwood was designed by Jack Nicklaus and although it is difficult, it is eminently playable, like most Nicklaus designs.
GRAY'S CROSSING TO OPEN ON MAY 21, 2021
Gray's Crossing is a Peter Jacobsen designed championship golf course tucked away on a beautiful mountain meadow in the shadow of Mt. Rose.

COYOTE MOON GOLF COURSE OPENS MAY 29th 2021
This challenging, but fair course allows all levels of golfers to be tested, while enjoying their round. Most tee shots offer ample landing areas as there are only a few forced carries. From the landing areas, most holes funnel down to medium-sized, undulating greens that are well protected by trees, sand and water.
The golf course was designed by Brad Bell, a former PGA Tour player, well known for creating highly praised golf courses around the central valley. Located in Truckee, this is an excellent choice for golfing in Lake Tahoe.

THE LINKS AT SQUAW CREEK ARE OPEN

OLD BROCKWAY GOLF COURSE IS OPEN
Old Brockway Golf Course is steeped in history and was home of the 1st Bing Crosby Golf Tournament 1934 - 1935. It is the first 9-hole golf course in the country to become an Audubon cooperative sanctuary.
The course meanders through towering Jeffery pines with majestic mountain and Lake Tahoe views. You will enjoy more than 3400 yards of quality golfing experience, including two par 5 holes. The tight fairways and the postage stamp greens are reminiscent of golf in an era gone by. The course was built by Harry Comstock and designed by renowned Scottish architect, John Duncan Dunn.
Dunn is one of the premiere golf course architects of his era. He built many famous courses in his day, one being the Shinnecock Hills, NY, site of the 1995 US Open.

NORTHSTAR GOLF COURSE OPENING LATE MAY OR EARLY JUNE
This 18-hole, par-72 course makes every guest feel welcome. From beautiful scenic views to two unique nines, Northstar Resort’s pro-rated golf course maintains a comfortable feeling that will challenge golfers’ skills and appeal to their senses.
Designed by Robert Muir Graves, legendary landscape architect, his designs are notorious for integrating rugged, wooded sites with wavy bunkers and putting surfaces. The result of a Graves creation is a very active looking course. His unique features create a flow of movement in the land, qualities golfers will experience while playing at Northstar Resort. The course plays up to 6,781 yards and offers 4 tee locations with a rating of 72.4.
