My favorite area on the north shore of Lake Tahoe is the Brockway | Crystal Bay corridor. This portion of the lake straddles the state line between Nevada and California. It boasts some of the most incredible views of the crystal clear waters of Lake Tahoe. Additionally, homeowners enjoy easy access to many nearby restaurants, live music, nightlife and amenities not found in other neighborhoods of Lake Tahoe.
Homeownership in Crystal Bay provides access to the Incline Village amenities that include the Incline Village recreation and fitness center, swimming pool, tennis courts, and the world class golf courses. Homeownership does not include access to the Incline Village resident beaches, but many condo complexes have beach access and Sand Harbor is just a 15 minute drive. Kings Beach is also just 5 minutes from Crystal Bay.

Crystal Bay History
Construction in Crystal Bay began in the 1920’s by developer Norman Blitz, who constructed a land sales office, which later became the Ta-Neva-Ho as the first Crystal Bay casino. Frank Sinatra purchased the Cal Neva resort in the 1960’s and the Rat Pack attracted many movie stars to Lake Tahoe.
Crystal Bay homeowners enjoy access to the Incline Village Recreation Center. This is a 37,000 sf complex with a cardio room, group fitness classes, weight room, massage therapy, pool and sauna. Incline Village is just a 5 minute drive and Sand Harbor, one of Lake Tahoe’s best beaches, is 15 minutes away. Each year, the park hosts the Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival, considered to be the best venue of this type in the world.
